About

Five States, One Case

A rehearsal moves through the same states every time. You choose how you want to practice, a study comes up, you say what you see, you ask for the next study, and the case closes with a score.

The home page is open. Practice, Exam Day, and My Results ask for an email link, and only invited testers receive one. The link opens in the same browser.

02

Choose the Sitting

A random case is about ten minutes. A section is one 25-minute period. Exam Day is seven of those periods, with breaks, and no scores until the end of the day.

03

The Study Is on Screen

The examiner reads a short history and one study appears. You describe the findings out loud. The contributor is credited on the image.

04

You Ask for the Next Study

Name the study you want. If it was done, it comes up. If it was not, the examiner tells you what was obtained instead and stays on the study in front of you.

05

The Case Is Scored

You commit to a diagnosis, a short differential, and what happens next. The score is 68 to 72. The debrief quotes the phrase that earned each mark and lists what was missed.

On screen

The Room, Then the Debrief

The exam room during a case: a non-contrast head CT on screen, the examiner tile, and the transcript along the bottom.
State 03 and 04. One study, the examiner, and the words you have already said.
The debrief table: each rubric item, the quoted phrase, and whether it was said or missed.
State 05. Observation, synthesis, and management, each tied to a phrase from the transcript.
